New construction , no road or address on map

Hello. My house and several others that are in my development are not on the map after almost 1 year. What do I do?

First thing would to do would be to tell us where in North America the missing streets are located. Maybe even provide permalink from the Waze Map Editor or Google Maps of where the subdivision is.

With that information we can start looking at updating the map.

I think I have fixed the map up. Unfortunately we are currently in a delay for updating the app due to some technical issue that Waze is having. Hopefully the fix I have made will reach the app in the next few days, if it has not updated by next week let us know and we can tell you if the app has been updated or not.

Ok I hope this works. What about the other homes like 7174 and 7172

I added most of the house numbers to the street as well. Hopefully this will help everyone. I would suggest that once the app gets updated, you delete any previous search results you may have so that you can get a fresh search.

It is still not showing the road that connects to our homes.

Please be patient for the changes to appear. They may take up to a week to reach the app. I’ll try and remember to post here if we see the address adjustment has reached the app for you to test.

Great news. We had the map update we were waiting on for your changes to go live in the Waze app. I was able to correctly route to the 7176 Bull Run Post Office Rd address you specified above in the app.

Please remember to follow jm6087’s instructions above by removing this destination from your app’s search history and Favorites (including Work & Home locations) and then search for it again. If you fail to do this, your app will continue to use the bad lat/long coordinates presently stored in its cache.

Give it a try and let us know either way if it is working for you. Thanks for your patience during the delay.

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to correct Google Maps issues any more than you do. If you want to submit a correction to them, you can search for your address in Google Maps. Then on the left beside the address you will see a 3 bar icon for the Menu. Click it and at the bottom click on “Send Feedback”. You will have the option to suggest an edit to their pin location for your address, report a missing road, wrong information ,etc. Some edits go through fairly quickly, but some can take weeks.
