Discovered some weird behaviour, where I rejected 11 PURs from the same user, which included some 10 photos, clearly shown as rejected in the Edit History, but appears in the Photos tab of the place, and even shows that the photos were added by myself, when I’m the one that rejected it.
I have left the Place untouched as it is after my last edit to ease investigation.
When in the house number editing view, moving a house number near the edge of the window seems to move the entire GUI over. This causes anything you interact with to be offset by the same distance that the GUI itself is offset. The issue persists even after leaving house number mode. NOTE: This is occurring across multiple browsers, with and without scripts running.
EDIT: I also just noticed this same behavior occurs if you move a HN too close to the bottom of the window too.
Strange, I can’t reproduce it in beta, but it occurs in production across Edge, Firefox, and Chrome for me. I have extensions running on firefox, but no Waze-related extensions; and Edge is completely clean, no extensions whatsoever. Also occurs in incognito-mode on Chrome. I don’t know if it makes a difference, but the version I show in production is v2.180-14-g6f7dd5d43.
Out of habit I test all bugs in Beta since in theory if it works in Beta, it will eventually work in Production. I could not replicate in Beta, however I was able to replicate in Production.
I’ve had this happen a few times to me in Prod and do not believe it has in beta that I can remember. Good to hear you could not duplicate in beta. It’s annoying when it happens but you can work around it luckily to finish what you are working on.
I experience some issues when selecting segments, sometimes when selecting a segment, it just does not select it. This is also the case when selecting multiple segments.
Are you able to reproduce this without scripts running? This is a common issue with the latest release when running too many scripts - you exceed the number of layers allowed in WME.
Steps to reproduce (both in beta and production) No scripts/extensions
Select a segment where the city name is currently set to “None”
Open Address box
Click in the City box
Do not delete or highlight the word “None”
Type in a valid city name
Notice that the valid city name is being added to “None”, not replacing “None”
NOTE: This also happens in the street name, but you don’t get a warning about adding a new street name ~ So much higher risk of accidentally messing up the street name.
After posting this here <https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=397244>, it dawned upon me that this could also be something I should’ve posted here. I don’t really think this has something to do with the release version, as the problem occurred only yesterday, but then I can’t tell a penguin from a palm tree when it comes to coding, so here goes:
Is it something to do with the current release that place edits don’t seem to get counted anymore?
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a nudge to indicate you answered my post here. Now, I’ve already answered your question in the other thread, where you indicated you’d launch a bug report on the matter.
To answer your question here as well (after all, I wouldn’t want to give you the feeling I’m sending you on a chase round the boards ) I did mean the counter you indicate, the assortment of white to red bars for daily edit numbers. I’ve since learned that’s called a “heat map”. This doesn’t update. The number at the top of the profile page and the ones for the category numbers at the bottom do update. I take it this means that adding screenshots will no longer be needed. If I’m mistaken in this, please tell me and I’ll comply.
This morning I came across some new weird behavior. Trying to connect a new segment with an already present (saved) segment no junction arrows were shown.
Only way to fix this is moving the end of the old segment and connecting the new segment with it.
