Having to manually select āNoneā for closure events is getting really annoying.
I am using Firefox and I didnāt have that issue before with or without scripts.
While I 100% agree that āNoneā should be automatically in native WME, I believe it has been mentioned somewhere but having to manually select āNoneā has been native in WME for a while. Scripts would automatically select āNoneā for you. Also, apparently some browsers would also automatically select āNoneā but that is/was a browser setting or something and had nothing to do with WME.
There seems to be an issue when changing the name of a segment to something similar to an already existing segment name, where the WME automatically chooses the first name in the list of suggestions. Clicking or tabbing out of the list isnāt possible, however pressing ESC works as a solution, for now, to not select a name from that list.
Expected behaviour would be to only use an entry when itās clicked on or selected with Enter/Return.
I encountered this issue in script-free Firefox and Edge.
It also doesnāt seem to be the browserās native autocomplete as that one pops up as well as the WMEās in Edge.
Alright, thanks. I had similar responses from the German community. I couldāve sworn it didnāt do this just a few weeks ago. Maybe itās the same change that apparently wonāt let the browser auto-select the āNoneā selection in the RTC view anymore.
