New Place Update Requests from EV Charging Station (EVCS) data feed are paused

As a heads up to the USA community: the data feed that creates PURs for EVCS has been put on hold. For the time being, editors will not see any additional PURs for EVCS added to the WME.

This will allow staff the time and space necessary to improve the data quality of the feed and of EVCS features in the WME.

Greetings, we are a new charging network and adding chargers to the Map, following the guidelines here: EV charging station (EVCS) - Places

How are we able to add Hyperfuel as a network and add individual stations? I’ve attempted to add a few stations and unfortunately it is stating that I do not have permissions. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for reaching out. Let me do a little research and I’ll get back to you about adding the HyperFuel brand.

As for the individual EV charging stations, they can added anywhere that you have “editable area” which usually means anywhere that you have driven with the Waze app in the past 90(ish) days. If you’re looking to get these EVCS added outside your drive area, we may be able to work with local editors in those areas to add them on your behalf. In this case, we would need a spreadsheet of the locations, addresses, hours, url, phone number, and precise coordinates (lat/lon) if available.

Thanks! I work for Hyperfuel, I am happy to provide this information - please let me know where I can send the spreadsheet. Note there is no phone number associated with these sites.

There are currently 11 stations open across Dallas, Houston, and Carson City, NV, with additional stations coming in the near future.

Feel free to email me at nzahn1.waze@gmail.com.

Regarding the phone number, for EVCS we usually use the basic driver support line, if any.

Working on adding the EVCS brand/network “HyperFuel” to Waze now.

Nate,

Awesome, thanks - note that the network is “Hyperfuel” and not “HyperFuel.” I will email you the spreadsheet now. Really appreciate your help on this.

Eeek! Okay, I’ll make sure it’s capitalized correctly.
