A few weeks ago a new fixed red light/speed camera was added to Pascoe Vale Road going northbound, on the corner of Devon Road in Oak Park/Pascoe Vale.
I still haven’t seen it being added to Waze or the Vic Gov find-a-camera website, but its definitely there. Should be easy to find/add as its now opposite the fixed point camera for the southbound drive
I note the installation on the southern side of the intersection (on the east side of Pascoe Vale Rd). I am by no means an expert on all the camera types but I have not seen a camera like that monitoring north bound traffic nor does it look similar to the standard RLC installations around Melbourne - installations are usually situated on the side of the traffic they are monitoring.
There is a camera installation monitoring south bound traffic that looks failr to RLC hence why its added but there are also various other camera installtions - Waze only maps speed and RLC perhaps they are fixed phone/seatbelt?
Anyway - cameras will invite all level of experts to suggest - no doubt we’ll have some readers of this post contribute I hope - I just dont want to speculate not being an expert nor do I wish to populate the map with unnecessary distractions until its very reasonable that they exist. If you have extra information that confirms camera type, direction of travel its monitroing I am happy to review.
