New Roundabout in Coffs Harbour

Hi there,

I would like to add a new roundabout in Coffs Harbour to the waze map. Its the intersection of Combine Street and Azalea Avenue. The roundabout has been there for about 12 months but strangely has not been added to any GPS maps. Also, if possible, I am a professional driver in the region and would like to be able to edit maps myself should the need arise. Is that possible at all?

Thanks for letting us know. At least it’s a roundabout and not another set of traffic lights, am I right? :wink:

I added it to the map for you before I read the rest of your post sorry. You certainly can help out, anyone can edit the Waze map, that’s what makes it the best! Basically, as you drive using Waze you gain an “editing area,” which is a 1.6km radius around where you have driven with Waze. You’re allowed to edit streets and places within this editing area. Note, roads and places that are important are locked to a higher level though, but senior editors are happy to unlock them for you and lock again when you’re finished.

Thanks for that. Eventually I would like to be able to do some more higher level editing as there are some speed zones around the local area that are incorrect and some smaller service roads have changed particularly around the Coffs Harbour Base Hospital. I’m sure that will come along later.
