New school zone speed zones in South Australia

Please advise if Waze will be including the new timed school speed zones or do l need to update my settings?

Thanks for reaching out. We do plan on adding these new 40km/h timed school zones. I actually just over the weekend added a number of them based on the list provided by the SA Government of what school sites have been installed. If there are any that are still missing even on tomorrow mornings drive, please do make a note of which school it is and I can get that added.

Hi there, thank you for your quick response and your work in the background.
I have done some checking over the last couple of days in my area and as you suggested the new zones are up and only show up during the appropriate times.
I don’t know if it’s a settings problem on my device but I have to have a destination set to get these alerts, unlike fixed speed / stop light cameras?
Looking forward to updating my Waze skills. :slight_smile:

Yes, that is currently how it works. We’re hoping this will change to work in roam mode in the future however :slight_smile:
