Hi,

Can you please update the map for me?

Change required: Add separate LG for Boxley Cr and Fairford Rd on Stacey St
Reason: LG claims Boxley Cr is part of the junction however it’s seperate

TLDR; It’s the best we can do right now with the technology we have.

Boxley Cr is included in the junction box to take advantage of the magical powers of JBs. You can read more about them here:

Note that Boxley Cr is close to the A6, and traffic waiting to turn on the A6 often queues beyond Boxley Cr, therefore, we include it in the JB. Unfortunately, we are also required to map every lane guidance option, otherwise LG won’t work for that entire JB direction.

You’re 100% right, it isn’t perfect, but it is more advantageous to give drivers a better ETA using that junction and have the LG 95% correct. I hope this helps explain :slight_smile:

EDIT: I added “Push” onto the LG paths there so the prompts/LG experience appears more accurately to the drivers. Hopefully that helps.
