Good Afternoon
You had added the cam but not set the speed - if you were seeing km/h then you need to go to the settings cog on the left panel and change this to imperial.
I have updated the speed.
It’s should appear on the app in a few days

Hi Mark,
I added the camera, turned it, set it to 48km/hr (which I have now changed to imperial, thanks for that) then I pressed save on the top right. Should I press lock to save the speed, cos I didn’t do that?

Kind regards,
Andy.
“Lock” sets the level of users who can modify the camera (or place). Usually “auto” is good.
If you look at it now, it has been locked to “Auto (5)” so only a select few can modify it.
Someone has changed this to a red light camera, it is a new style speed camera as per the link below. Can someone edit this back for me please.
www.safetycameras.gov.scot/cameras/safety-camera-locations/west/glasgow-city/a726-nitshill-road-near-to-seamill-street-glasgow/
Combined speed + red light cameras are set as red-light in waze. But in this case, the position immediately after the junction suggests it’s NOT a red-light camera. I’ve changed it back to a 30mph speed camera.
I’ve also moved it closer to the junction.
It’s not a combined, it is one of the new Vector-SR range. The link to the official Scotland site states it is a 30mph speed camera.
Thanks for the update. The only problem then is that folk will think it is only a red light camera and won’t watch their speed as they won’t think it is a speed camera. That was what brought it to my attention when I drove back down that road and it gave me the red light camera warning.
I agree. Perhaps it would be better if waze had a new “combined” camera type.
