New Speed Cameras in Coconut Creek, FL

Please note that the Coconut Creek Police Department has added several new fixed speed cameras, so can one of the admins please update the map accordingly per below?

One of those cameras is located exactly here:

26.29460, -80.17592

It’s a dual camera system, which points in both directions, and is active from 7:30a to 2:30p per their signage.

If I can see where the others are, I will report them as well. The one above I have seen myself.

Hello. Thanks for your post and welcome to the forum. I’ve added a bi-directional speed camera by your map comment. Let us know if it’s placed in the correct location and if others need to be added. Thanks.

Unfortunately, Waze does not yet give us the ability to limit the camera alert by date or time.

I still can’t see the camera, but maybe it takes a bit to show. The location of the camera I reported is exactly where I put the comment on the map (give or take 10ft).

I’m sure I saw another one in Johnson Rd in front of Tradewinds Elementary School, but I don’t want to report it officially until I can pinpoint its exact location.

Great. Give the camera a few days to get updated into the map and when you verify more exact locations of speed cameras by the school zones you can definitely add a similar map comment in WME to help us out mapping them accurately. Thanks!

Good morning Mike and community!

I was able to find the exact location of the two cameras in front of Tradewinds Elementary school. One points East, the other West and they are about one block away from one another. I put comments on WME with their exact locations as requested.

Just in case…
East facing camera: 26.31184, -80.19877

West facing camera: 26.31202, -80.19678

I should have the location of the W Hillsboro Blvd between the turnpike and Powerline camera soon… We are also keeping an eye on the new camera being set up for Lyons Creek Middle School. More on that as it materializes…

Seems to be on only one side of the road, pointing East.
