Trial Opening of the U-turn Bridge at Km. 35+600
The Department of Highways is opening a new U-turn bridge and improving the traffic system at Kilometer 35 for convenience and safety. Details of the changes, effective from January 25, 2026, onwards, are as follows:
1. Opening of the U-turn Bridge (Km. 35)
Opening U-turn bridges on both sides, including:
Outbound side: U-turn from the Chonburi direction, heading back toward Chonburi. Inbound side: U-turn from the Bangkok direction, heading back toward Bangkok.
2. Closure of the Frontage Road Exit (Temporary point at Km. 36)
Closing the exit from the main lanes to the frontage road at the foot of the old U-turn bridge.
3. Recommendations for Commuters to Wellgrow Industrial Estate
For those traveling from Bangkok and wishing to enter Wellgrow Industrial Estate, please change your entry point to the frontage road as follows: Use the exit in front of Nam Thai Market (Km. 34) instead of the previous point to access the frontage road heading toward the industrial estate.
