You will now be able to multi select places with Ctrl/Cmd + Mouse Click and merge them
A pop up will open and you will able to select relevant info from:
Name
Description
Address
Lock Level
Categories
Photos
Once done you can complete the merge
Update translations

So far the merge feature has been a positive experience within the community!
There was one misunderstanding where someone expected the geometry of two places to be merged somehow as well, but that would only theoretically be possible in a limited set of cases (basically if the areas happen to overlap). But that is not a use case that really matters.
As long as we’re talking about WME releases and Places, I’m curious if anyone else is seeing place duplications upon creation.
Trying to discern if anyone else, and how many others, might be seeing this.
It appears to be associated with the new save flow, and I haven’t yet determined if a script is involved or not.
It manifests as the save flow basically blinking the screen several times as WME is apparently saving and resaving and resaving (up to four extra times) new places, both point and area, and now I am also seeing this behavior with MCs, both point and area.
Anyone else?
Yes, I have experienced this. It may be caused by a script. I forget off the top of my head. I believe it was discussed in a Discord channel or script subforum.
Please can someone sticky this thread in place of the v2.22 one currently giving the impression that it’s the latest release…

Have anybody problems with save of new POIs? Often poi hides after saving and user should reload page some times.
