I was recently on a rural gravel road headed to a popular scenic area and the road disappeared on Waze and reappeared about 1.5 miles later. I tried to add the missing section but Waze indicated I was not permitted to update it. I had Waze running throughout so I’m not clear why I couldn’t make the update.

Can you also tell me if you have the editable area layer turned on? Sometimes in poor cell service areas, Waze doesn’t get the drive recorded to give you editable area.
