One street on city boarder => how to tag?

In my neighbourhood there are several streets ON the boarder between two cities.
One site of the road is city X, the other site is city Y. Cars driving in on direction are in city X, Cars in the other direction are in city Y.

How do we tag these streets? For now I’ve marked some of these streets as “No City”, but they can’t be found when searching an address…

Did you wait for a map update before trying to search for it?
Is it possible to find it on bing maps, where the street name data comes from on the search?

Waze uses an external database for the search engine.
It doesn’t use the streetname you enter.

Can you give us a specific example?

I’ve dealed with this issue too in the past. Even some streets with a country border in the middle of the street. I just choose 1 country.

He’s talking about cityborders

If you use viamichelin as reference as suggested in the wiki, you only get 1 cityname for each segment…
