Feature request: Adding a one-touch way to get to the alternate routes screen while driving.

Several times I’ll be headed down the highway and see brake lights ahead as I approach a clover-leaf intersection for which Waze doesn’t have a speed/traffic warning yet–one that I can use as an alternate route. Having a one-touch button the navigation screen would let me make my stay-on-route or bail decision a bit quicker and safer as I would have to look away from the road for less time while “finding” the routes button.

If everyone did this, no one would be rerouted around traffic. You need to be stuck in traffic for Waze to know about it. If it’s always like that, Waze will learn that it’s a crappy route and start going around it anyway.

Not necessarily true Xteejx, some will likely get stuck in it and verify the existence of the jam, but Waze could also note when multiple drivers are suddenly avoiding the normally projected route or are requesting alternate routes.
