I was wondering why Waze only allows people to record their voice when creating a voice with voice recorder.
The quality of these recordings are always imperfect. There is noise in the recording, or the the commands dont really work when linked together like, “In 200 meters” “take the second exit”. It just sounds horrible. But if you can record these and use some audio software you can get a much better quality. But then you need the app to allow uploading a file. (.wav or .mp3 for example)
Can this feature be added to the app?
Option 1 would be to not speed, then you wouldn’t have to worry about the audible warning :lol:
Option 2 would be to check out the suggestion box and search to see if the suggestion has been made in the past. If so, upvote it. If not, create a new suggestion.
Any news about this since? I want to upload high-quality recordings as voice prompts.
