These are, in my view, incredibly helpful. There is one extra feature that could be helpful as follows.
Provide a switch option to repeat the overspeed alert. This could also be a number value in seconds with options for

  • 0 - do not repeat the alert for this instance of over speeding
  • increments of 5, 10, 15, 20 to repeat the alert within the current instance of over speeding to remind the driver to slow down.

What do others think of this idea.
