Updated the RTC page to include the new Traffic Event verbiage (formerly MTEs) - when we post this we will need to update all of the links, as many are broken with the revision to the TE page.
Added Turn Closures as an addition to this page with the new turn closures feature in WME.
“For this reason, if a closure is very localized and going to go on for over a week (as for a bridge replacement) it might be worth the effort to [edit the closed segment]”
This link has been broken for a while, and I realize your changes did not touch it, but I’m intrigued to know what is meant by it.
Is it meant to link to the section on “Editing segments with closures”? That still doesn’t answer the question about why it is worth the effort…
I think if I’m reading the sentence before it correctly. That we should edit the segment and add a node where the closure starts/stops to “limit where the closure is” so that if its a very long segment, and we close the whole thing, maybe not all of it is closed.
I didn’t read thru everything else, as I assumed it was “approved”…I’ll have to read some more and I’ll add that section to the list to explain better.
