I think there are several changes that should occur on the Abbreviations and acronyms page. Here are my proposals:
In the first alert box on the page, remove the reference to Jane specifically as we have more TTS voices. Change it from:

Remove the second box. It’s not a new page and I don’t think this warning is necessary anymore.
This new page is currently undergoing modifications. The information and guidance is currently considered accurate enough to be followed now. Content is being prepared by one or more users. Do not make any changes before you send a private message to this user.
For the first alert box under Recommended abbreviations and acronyms, I think we can remove this one as well. It appears to have a link, but it’s not a link.
This list is not yet complete, there are other recommended abbreviations from the main Abbreviations and acronyms page which do work, but have not yet been added to this list. They will be added soon.
Also under the Recommended abbreviations and acronyms section, add information about the difference between USPS and Waze abbreviations:
Many GIS sources and street signs utilize USPS abbreviations on road names and in addresses. While there is significant overlap, abbreviations that should be used in Waze and USPS abbreviations are not the same. (For example: USPS uses BR to represent Branch while Br should be used for Bridge in Waze.) For reference, USPS abbreviations can be found on the USPS website.
Remove the Other localities section. This page is in the USA wiki, so I don’t think it’s necessary to address non-USA cases. Additionally, the link links back to this same page.

Other countries may have differing guidance; refer to the main Abbreviations & acronyms article to see a list the country-specific pages for any local guidance.
Under Discussion, remove the box around the content and correct the forum link to point to Discuss.
