The first section states "You should use a short “stub” length no less than 19.69 ft (6 m) of a standard road segment. "
The second to last statement in the illustration states “A five meter or longer stub of a different road type will accomplish the same result.”
Since the Minimum segment length page states all segments should be 19.69 ft (6 m), think we should change the number in the illustration statement to be consistent.
I could be wrong, but I think I recall at some point staff made a change to prevent through routing on PLRs in situations like this, so the standard Street segment stub may no longer be needed
I ran across two of these this week in other states, so went to the wiki and found the inconsistency. Do you have a means to ask if this is still required or should we ask a Champ to reach out?
I intend to use the {{:Segment length/Minimum}}, just wanted to see if others had a problem with fixing. As seen above in RussPA’s comment, we need to verify if this is even needed still.
If they did, it isn’t working. I had a UR just a couple weeks ago that was routing them through one parking lot, across a street, and into another parking lot.
