Greetings! In reviewing topics in the wiki, I came across Junction_Style_Guide/Intersections#Name_changes_on_straight_path and inquired if this was still current best practice. I didn’t think it was given the Falcon changes, but I wanted to double check. As expected, it was confirmed that mapping to reality and using TIOs to handle the issues identified in this section of the wiki is the current practice.
I propose that this section should be reworded to reflect the updated Falcon guidance and the use of TIOs. It really could be simplified down to map road geometry to reality and use Turn Instruction Overides to provide the expected directions from the driver’s perspective and give a few examples.
