Yesterday I was in Ciudad Evita, Buenos Aires Province
Here’s where I found cameras that aren’t on the map:
-34.724663950952284, -58.53297279371467
Martin Miguel de Güemes and Cnel. Espejo
-34.72724648680403, -58.52954856884016
El Burlisto and La Pirincha
-34.727127220873676, -58.529520055489684
El Burlisto and Chile
Hi! To add a camera and determine its exact position and orientation (important for Waze to notify it correctly), we would need a copy of a traffic ticket; it doesn’t have to be yours; or an official publication or link where we can see that they are authorized. Also, if possible, an image where the sensors on the road are visible and some reference to locate it correctly. Most cameras are for security or license plate recognition; without that verification, we aren’t adding new cameras to the map. In the editor community, we are asking for more data to incorporate enforcement cameras, as we try to ensure the information provided by the map is reliable. We have many reports from users who mistake other types of cameras for enforcement cameras, and adding them ends up being detrimental to the map if they aren’t meant for detecting violations. I hope this isn’t a bother, but it’s the only way we have to maintain a map with reliable information for everyone. You can send us the information once you have it to: wazearg@googlegroups.com Thanks in advance.
Ok
I’ll take photos when I pass by again.
Anyway, I looked for them on Google Maps Street View and they’re visible there.
The coordinates I sent you, I got from Google Maps and they are the same
as the one declared in Waze at Martin Miguel de Guemes and Bebilaqua.
