Parking lot roads getting removed

Hi. I’m trying to understand why parking lot roads have been getting removed. There was one that had been there for a while at my work, and now that it’s been removed, every time I leave my work, Waze keeps re-routing my while it’s trying to figure out what street I’m on while I’m still in the parking lot.

Also, I added one at a Community Centre that I frequent at least once a week, and that one’s been removed as well. This I understand even less, since the Community Centre is a public venue.

I just went over the Road Types within Metropolitan areas section for Canada on the wiki, and I saw no mention of parking lot roads, so perhaps I’m not looking in the right place for the answer to my question :-s

You can’t really tell who may have removed them since deletion doesn’t leave any evidence. You can start here to find out more about parking lot roads.

Generally, parking lot roads should be kept to a minimum and kept as simple as possible. It is not necessary to map every parking lot road that there is.
