Error: You don’t have permission to make some of the changes Suggestion: Check and try again

I’m level one, started a few days ago, when editing, even when I’m just moving the nodes on a street it gives me the error above.

I already checked the lock level, it’s Auto(1), but every single time I try to edit, not even at a junction, it gives me the error that I don’t have permission, I totally get it that they want to protect the map from malicious people, but it kills all the motivation.

It’s on every road I try, I tried many times, in completely different areas (within my areas), it’s the same with every parking lot road or regular road I try to add to the map.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Welcome to the world of Waze Editing.

This normally happens when you try and edit a segment if its not in your driving range.

If you click on the right hand side on the Map Layers and enable the Layer “Editable Areas”, you will see the areas you can edit.

If it is outside your drive area, then the area will be a bit darker than the area in your drive area.
