It’s not that there’s a difference in functionality it’s the uniformity.

When one adds it via the app, it’s added however it’s entered. This isn’t something for us to add to NY wiki, you can post it in the US channel for wiki debate but not every aspect of editing is covered in the wiki, some things are learned as you go forward. By all means feel free to post it in the appropriate forum for feedback, you never know others could feel the same way and next thing you know you’re typing up wiki proposals :). Can’t hurt to try!

I was more inquiring for knowledge sake what happens when entered from the app, not implying that this should be the guidance.
