Pin mark correction for The Wayback (Island Drive Lodge)

Hello!

I really need your assistance with The Wayback (previous name - Island Drive Lodge) :cry:
The pin mark on Waze is taking drivers to the back of the hotel instead of the front entrance.
Could you please fix this issue? (the mark should be located somewhere in the red area instead of the green one, please see the screen attached).

By the way, as far as I understand, it seems that The Wayback is missing on Waze Map Editor at all (only Island Drive Lodge duplicate is present).

Could you please merge these two listings into one somehow? :? Hi,

I’ve changed the primary name of the searchable place point to “The Wayback”. I kept the Island Drive Lodge as an alternate name in case someone were to still search for that. I also updated the phone number, website address, and deleted the older pictures.

The link you provided in the Waze listing is actually a Google search result since The Wayback was not mapped in Waze. Waze will pull this search result and use their pin to route to the nearest mapped road segment in Waze. This is likely causing the routing to the back of the hotel. Their address point is doing the same thing at the same pinned location. I submitted a change request on GoogleMaps for them to shift their pins for both hotel name and the address, but it’s on them to review and fix. I usually have good results but it can take a while.

Anyone having done a recent search for The Wayback or by address should delete their entry from their app and then create a new search, this includes any Work, Recent drives, or other Favorites setttings. This will pull in all the new changes I just made. If this isn’t done, Waze will use what is already stored in their app.
