Currently i had add my wedding place in waze, to help my guest to find that place out. Since i also wrote it in my invitation card. But, it still pending of community review? What does it means? And how can i asap make it available in live map? Can anyone help me since my wedding on 9/10 this coming Sunday.
To request for an approval of a newly-created place, please kindly include ALL of the following:-
- Place name
- Street name
- Area name (include state if it’s some rural place not known to many)
- Any other info you think you might need to make it easier for us to find especially on a very long road
Alternatively, if you have a Permalink to the exact spot, it will be more helpful.
By the way, from your description, this place will mostly be rejected cause according to WazeMy guideline, only permanent place are allow to be map. Most of the information can be get from the Place Update Request thread.
In your case, you may use the Share Location function in the client to navigate your friend to your wedding ceremony.

Hi. Unfortunately we dont approved temporary event type location. pls use the hotel location instead. As for the reception at your home, Waze has the ‘Send’ location function that you can utilize to let your guests know of the wedding location. Just open up Waze, tap & hold your location on the map till the bubble pop up, click ‘send’, then ‘more’ and click ‘copy’. This will create a link tht you can share online for wazers to drive to your location using waze.
