My account had been blocked from reporting.
I live in Scotland and travel as a passenger down south alot.
Obviously there are a lot of issues to report but when I report them I get blocked from reporting.
This has happened today. Travelling from Reading to Inverness.
I’m trying to be helpful to all the other wazersbut the system won’t let me.
Please help.
PS. I searched everywhere for where to post this but couldn’t see the right spot! Apologies.
Waze will automatically apply a temporary restriction on accounts that make (what Waze deem to be) an excessive amount of reports in a short period of time.
If this is the first time it’s happened, then the block will be automatically removed after 24 hours.
This is to prevent people spamming the map as every report updates nearby drivers in real-time, so as you can imagine this could be open to abuse.
