That is a way overly complicated intersection. Would you mind if I simplified it to show you the latest best practices for intersections like this?
No, I don’t mind at all…how do we go about doing that? I’ve been editing the maps in my area for about a month. I feel I’ve gotten pretty good at it though… Do u see the Wrong directions it’s been giving people?

Take a look now. What I’ve created is known affectionately as a mapcat bowtie. All four lanes are run together into a common node which permits us to turn off u-turns, but get accurate turning instructions for all other turn modes.
Also note:
-Turn lanes should be the same road type as the lowest level road they connect, not ramps.
-Turn lanes should be shortened to the only the mandatory portion of the painted solid line.
-Observe the extreme angle from the main lane to the turn lane. This is to force the voice prompts to say “turn right” instead of “exit right” or “keep right”

Jake, you out there? There is no need for a separate turn lane for eastbound traffic turning south. The intersection isn’t that wide, and there is no physical separation of the roadways. Also when you make a turn lane, you need to restrict right turns from the mainline road.
jondrush, yea I didn’t get the chance to testrict the mainline turn as I had to close the browser window and attend to my 2yr old daughter… And I was wondering why you didn’t put the east bound turn lane in… If u haven’t corrected it I will tonight… Thanks for your help… I will be more careful. But I haven’t got any reported errors there yet, so it’s def. working better…
