I’ve been trying to send private messages to an AM and CM in the UK and can’t seem to get any messages out of my outbox. I’ve noted that usually messages go to ‘Sent Messages’ as I have had a conversation with a senior editor previously, but my messages to users now don’t seem to be getting through. Is this down to full inboxes (if so, why does the site give absolutely no feedback to that effect?) or is my PM box a little broken?

Neither. The problem is that you are too impatient. :lol:
One of those PMs is to me - but I checked the forum first before checking the PMs. When you sent a PM, it goes to your Outbox. It stays there until the recipient actually opens the PM - at which point it moves to your Sent Items. :mrgreen:
I currently have 22 items in my Outbox - the oldest being from November 2012 - which have not been read.
My mistake! Posted mostly in the hopes of understanding how the system works, as I’m used to the Outlook and similar outboxes where they only sit there if something’s gone a bit wrong. Thankyou! :oops:
