I would like the ability for the police reports to pop up like the hazards do, so we can confirm them there or not there. Sometimes they are not there when I drive by, but the report is still there.
Also would like the ability to add hazards that last for a specified amount of time. I have construction happening near me where one lane is closed and has been for weeks. I am continually reporting the hazard.
I’m pretty sure that whenever I see a police report come up, there’s always the option to select “not there”. Maybe there are certain circumstances where the “not there” button isn’t available, but I know I’ve frequently clicked the “not there” button because the police have moved on to a different location.
IIRC, the button only appears when you travel the same direction as the reporter.
It is for when you travel on the same road in the same direction as that of the report. You cannot report “not there” if it is for the other side of the road or direction, or for a side road.
What about longer term construction that does not block but creates permanent heavy traffic?
What about longer term construction sites that disable parts of a route?
In my town there are a number of construction sites that fully block certain roads, and some of them will last several months, one 6+ years. Remove the road?

Note that because of the extra long update cycles on the map, that the official method of doing map edits map be problematic, as you have to wait for the next update for the disconnect to happen, and then have to try to plan for when it will become available again.
