I would like to report a possible excessive use of the alerts feature by the user “Dat’s Why” on Circuito Interior, CDMX.
I would like to clarify that a reversible lane does exist in this area, and I am not questioning the existence of said traffic condition. The problem is the extraordinary number of reports generated repeatedly by the same user regarding the same situation.
The alerts begin even before the section where the reversible lane operates, and upon entering that zone, numerous “Lane blocked” reports are concentrated very close to each other. During navigation, this causes a continuous succession of “blocked” voice alerts, sometimes practically one after another throughout the entire journey.
When checking the area later directly from the Waze map, I was able to open several individual reports and confirm that many of them are attributed to the same user, “Dat’s Why”, with minimal differences in timestamp.
I fully understand the utility of reporting a reversible lane, but I believe that dozens of reports for the same condition in such a short stretch create noise, reduce the usefulness of the alerts, and could constitute excessive use or spamming of the tool.
I am attaching screenshots of both the general view and several individual reports, and I would appreciate it if you could review this account’s activity history to determine if this behavior corresponds to the proper use of Waze alerts.
