Posible bug en el WME Chat

Hola editores.

Antes que nada perdón si el topic está en el subforo equivocado.
Bueno, no se si les ha pasado pero normalmente a mi me pasa cuando estoy sólo y si lo decía nadie me iba a creer. Es como ver un fantasma.

Acaba de suceder y pude corroborar que no soy el único que experimenta este detalle.
Como saben el Chat está dividido por canales y generalmente se usa México como canal (No se en el beta), puedes cambiar libremente entre canales sabiendo el nombre. Pues bien, a veces ocurre que se “cruzan” los canales, pero de una forma muy especial. Empezamos a recibir mensajes en inglés, portugués, francés, etc. Dependiendo del canal que se cruce. Pero solo se reciben los mensajes de 1 usuario y no, él no ingresa al canal de México. ¿Como lo se? Pues por que entonces estaría conversando solo.

Si esto ya es algo conocido, haganmelo saber. Pero si saca de onda e impide la claridad en el chat. A la vez que escribo esto, su conversación sigue en el Chat y no para.

Es correcto, yo también lo vi, por un momento pensé que era una conversación antigua con alguno de los que nos encontrábamos conectados.

Es algo que antes pasaba mas, chats de otros países se venían a México o los mios se iban a USA pero se me hace que ese bug tiene mas que ver con el script de chat add on, suele guardar lo ultimo que viste o que alguien vio en un server y te muestra lo ultimo que se habló:

Pasa eso que mencionas con todos los scripts apagados?

No es detalle del historial ya que seguía la conversación en vivo. Posiblemente sea el único plugin de Chat que tengo, no lo desactive para probar. Intente cambiando de canales a otros países y solo sucedía con el chat de México.

Ahora ya no me aparece KTCAOP escribiendo para probar desactivando los plug-ins pero si vuelve a ocurrir será la primero que probaré para ver si es el chat en sí o los plug-ins.

Ya pasaba antes, cuando recién pusieron el chat, se venían conversaciones de otros países y era un caos. Le pedíamos al usuario que borrara su cache y muchas veces ni eso lo solucionaba.

Ya trataron de mandarle un PM al usuario con capturas de pantalla y ver si puede cerrar sesión y abrir de nuevo o borrar el historial?

Hello everyone! I apologize that I am not going to be writing to you in Spanish and I apologize for any confusion and/or frustration that I caused. I will be happy to explain to you what caused this issue for me and I apologize that I did not know that I was intruding so heavily into your chat room.

It started when I was trying to look up a coordinate in another region of the world and it sent me to Antarctica. Obviously there are no roads there that I would be interested in, but it had switched me over to the ROW server. I was attempting to get back to the United States, however, there is not much that is mapped out for the United States on your server and so I could not easily jump back there. I ended up searching for Mexico and then from there I jumped up to the United States.

You will notice next to my name at the time there is a question mark symbol (?) - We actually see this quite often on our server. This symbol means that the messages are coming from another server, though the user initially joined into the WME chat in that country. Because I went back to the United States of America server from Mexico, some of my texts were caught as “ghost” messages and leaked into your server. I do apologize for the confusion. Ghost messages mean that while they appear on your server, any messages that you send will not be sent to the other user.

if it helps any, I am currently using a computer that uses Internet Explorer, I do not have any scripts or extensions whatsoever. I have been told that WME Chat Addon can sometimes make it easier or harder for messages to leak through. Because I was in your chat channel briefly, WME Chat Addon may still send my messages through, even if I have changed to the USA channel.

Don’t worry KTCAOP. I was only trying to report this issue. For me, this happens quite often and was hoping to get more information about the issue.
It was kind of fun seeing a “ghost” chat with other people. :lol:
