The topic probably already been discussed, sorry if this is the case.

I think a note option will be very useful to waze.
Imagined a change in the roads, éditor cares, then another pass after and control.
He sees that it is not just with information and replace roads as before …
A note for a change will be very useful.

already requested and Waze is working on it, as far as we know…

I take advantage of this topic to ask another question:

About the UR… Is it possible to add a specific editor to follow the UR? He will be responsible of the following and closure of the report.
Sometimes, an UR is closed quickly by an editor who haven’t discuss yet with the reporter (while another user was trying to resolve the problem).

Maybe, the first editor sending a message to the reporter can become the editor in charge of the UR. Other editors can also chat (and of course edit the map), but only the responsible (or another editor with the same editing level or above) can close the UR.

The first thing will be to keep UR’s open longer, even if they are marked as ‘solved’ or ‘unidentified’.

you can ‘follow’ a certain UR (option in the conversation), and as soon as you answer in the conversation you are automatically ‘following’ and receiving mail-notifications

I noticed I can still enter the conversation, and talk about the UR, get answers and respond, by following the hyperlink in the mailnotification, EVEN WHEN the UR is closed (solved) … as long as you don’t trash that hyperlink (with the specific UR-url) the conversation is still working
the UR-icon is not visible anymore in the map, but the url and the conversation still works (I hope it’s not a bug, because it can still be useful to talk after the closure of the UR)

Indeed, I saw that… but if you delete the mail, did you still receive a mail notification?

My purpose was like any alert in a help desk… The alert is assigned to someone, and this person is in charge of this alert from A to Z.
Here, any user can put the flag “solved” (or another) even without taking part of the conversation or without resolving the issue.
Of course, we can’t assign the UR to a random user. It’s why I’ve suggested the first user beginning the conversation. And a user with the same level or greater can also close the UR (to avoid UR staying alive  too long).

Another thing: about the “follow” option… The number of UR is increasing day by day. Certainly because the number of increasing Wazers. And that’s great!
But, it might be interesting to have something to summarize all the URs that we follow. Because if I follow an UR, I receive only notification when another wazer put something in the conversation or if the UR is closed. The purpose here will be to know which UR I’m following and it’s open for a long time without any response. I found no rules about the recommended duration to let an UR opened. In general, I wait max 2 weeks… And I have to check every UR to know which are mine, and which can I close because no response (or am I wrong and a tool exists? :stuck_out_tongue: )

Thanks.

Great suggestion, and would be great if we could get that…
I think it should be possible to make a script to do this kind of thing (follow/summarize the UR’s you are following…)
But i’m no script-kiddy…

me neither… unfortunately.

Maybe we can contact the script creator of the URO script?

done!
