Received a report at Hinkler Drive, Highland Park. Waze wants the driver to make a u turn at these segments through the second u turn and back again.

Is this the place for a junction box? Suggestion first came from DS.

I am not that familiar with how junction boxes work, either in theory, and certainly not in practice, being a level 2 editor, as in I do not have access to them. But it was suggested by DS as a solution.

The issue at this set of intersections is that travelling East, waze has allowed the u turn at the second cross street. But both cross segments are required as they connect side streets to ramps or primary streets. And the green arrows are all allowed, so they can not be disallowed.

So I am unsure of a solution here, unless someone can come up with a new configuration.

Go ahead and use a junction box. I’m with Waze staff in Amsterdam right now and the use of JB is absolutely encouraged, for it serves several background reasons in regard of ETA calculation. Segments within a junction box will be editable soon as well.
Be sure to include the whole junction in one box (including AT-Connectors and not only the four JN in the middle)

Mate, your JB is perfect.
The “pair error” you quoted comes if you leave more than one connection per pair of entry and exit points allowed.
There are 2 A->F, 3 B->G and 2 C->G possible and you eliminated all illegal/impractical leaving just 1 A->F, 1 B->G and 1 C->G allowed, so your JB can safe (no error as in your quote) and support routing and ETA computation perfectly.
Btw. staff forgot about Irad’s initial post on “use JB only when absolutely necessary for it’s demand on computing power”…but they wondered why we were reluctant to use them.
Fact, that restriction is gone for ages, but the change was never communicated, as we found out yesterday. Big surprise for staff and all Wazers present.

Other than “soon” they have “near future”…and my favorite “definitely planning to work on it”…
