Anyone having the same problems as me, since i upgraded my phone its impossible to use waze on longer drives than 30min. The phone gets so hot the phone shut down charging to prevent batterydamage. When i use Maps the phone stays cool

2 different iPhone 12, its been like this since iOS 16 came
Tested yesterday without carplay and it work like it should with cool battery, so the problem is related to carplay somehow
Same here iOS 12 Pro using Carplay. 10% less battery in a 20 minutes drive. Phone plugged in and charging. In iOS 15 the phone used to charge, not discharge.
Yes its been some time since the release of ios 16 and still no fix. So now its google maps that has to be used when i need gps. I really miss wase tho
