Hi, my name is Lucas from Argentina. I work as an IT project leader for a large company in Latin America (Ternium).
Our company operates a large factory, comparable in size to a small town. We have our own ambulance and fire-fighting services with dedicated vehicles. Over 10,000 people move around the factory daily.
We are considering developing a system to reduce the response time of our emergency crew. One major issue is that people often don’t know how to reach various locations within the factory.
We are looking to use Waze or Google Maps to accomplish this, since they are easy to use and widely accessible.
The main problem we need to solve is road closures and directions. We need a way to easily report an event and have it reflected in Waze or Maps quickly.
Our initial thought was to use the Waze for Cities program, but we were rejected since we are not a government entity—we are a private company.
Is there any available program for this type of solution? What do you recommend?
