I am not requesting an unlock because I don’t know why it behaves like this. However the directions to the driver are extremely confusing (in fact, wrong).
There is a problem at the following junction (B end of segment, nearest Eglisau). When approaching from the south east (Bülach) travelling in the direction of Bad Zurzach the instruction is given as “gerade aus”…which implies staying in the right lane and heading straight towards Eglisau. In fact, the junction is controlled by traffic lights, and it is a specific left turn needed at the lights, to proceed in the southerly direction - so instead of hearing “gerade aus” which is incorrect, then “links abbiegen” would be correct. At the same junction in the reverse direction, the direction given to the driver is “gerade aus”, but in fact a 90-degree right hand turn is required.
The same problem occurs at the following junction when heading towards Bad Zurzach - the direction given is “gerade aus” which suggests to the driver to enter the construction site. A “rechts abbiegen” instruction would avoid confusion. Again, the same issue appears in the reverse direction - when a “links abbiegen” would make it clear not to enter the construction site.
Please let me know if further information is needed to clarify this. The problem has existed for a couple of months at least, but I drove it again today and thought it should be corrected.
