Issues with Waze in CABA, Argentina

Hi everyone

I’m sharing a post from the Help Center to ask for your help.

What is happening with Waze in CABA Argentina? It makes you turn on avenues where it is prohibited, for example, Córdoba Avenue to the right or Entre Ríos Avenue to the right; both have exclusive transport lanes.

Hi! In order to investigate, we need you to send an error report from the Waze app itself. This way, we will receive part of your trip and the route proposed by Waze.

Also, please check that you don’t have the vehicle type set to TAXI in the settings, as that is for the exclusive use of such transport; you should set it to PRIVATE.

Hi! What Skorpiano replied is correct, but additionally, those turns in Waze are prohibited except for taxis. It happens that some users mistakenly set the taxi mode in their app, so they get that instruction on Av. Córdoba, for example. You can also tell them to check that they are set as a private car or motorcycle to solve that issue. It’s not a map or Waze error, but rather a specific user’s app configuration. Regards

Supposedly, yes. If it hadn’t been, at the very least the message should have been different.
