Is there any way we can get the voice commands to correctly pronounce place names? In particular is Fairmeadow in Maidstone, which is currently being pronounced as Fair-med-oww and not as it should be as Fair-Meadow. Major annoyance for me every time I drive into Maidstone on the A229 (from Chatham).

There’s no way to put a phonetic spelling in the editor, although I do seem to remember someone saying it was on the “Soon” list.
The parsing is a bit annoying too, I am forever turning onto the “A24, North London Road” instead of the “A24 North, London Road”.
This is just as I suspected - the map would soon be littered with phonetic spellings of the street names, sounding great but making no sense to users trying to locate a “normally” spelt road.
It would just need an extra field for the phonetic name.
If left blank the regular street name would be used.

How about A832 - Druim Achadh Na Sgeilpe in Scotland?
I’ve had Waze pronounce that for me dozens of times. Whatever TTS is saying, it doesn’t relate to the spelling in any way that I can see! Mind you, I’m not sure how I’d pronounce it either. :lol:
