While Waze doesn’t have an official way to protect these segments, i’ve created a script to lock all segments with lock6.
This is what we are doing in Portugal.

I’m setting the lock to 6 when I set the toll on the tool, but having the script to check and fix if anyone forgets one is a good idea.
