There are various situations in which the current text-to-speech system says the street name incorrectly (see this topic). We need some way to correct pronunciation when Waze gets it wrong. The most general solution would be to add a “phonetic name” field in the editor which would be passed directly to the TTS system (without any pre-processing) in place of the normal street name.
