So I am pretty new to the Waze Community and have been having a great time driving around and learning to work on maps, as I have been getting points I notice my rank changes are different on a local level compared to a system level or atleast that is what I think the differences are.
What is a local rank?
How is the locality determined?
Is there a place to see who ranks where on a local level?
In USA/Canada it’s the rank within your state. In the rest of the world it’s the rank within your country.
I think it’s simply where you’re wazing the most.
Nope, as far as I know you can only see the top 50 of your global region (NA/ROTW) and the top 50 of your state/country.
Besides, you can’t really compare different local ranks. For example, the population of my country is 30 times higher than the population of Nevada. So I probably have to “compete” with a lot more co-wazers to make it to the top 50. On the other hand, we probably have a bunch more roads to be edited, although the area is only 25% larger than that of Nevada…
Just a quick correction to that – in the USA, it’s your ranking in your state. In Canada, it’s still countrywide (rankings are not kept by province at this time).
