Is it worth adding railroads or not? (I know they are typed “walking trails” in Belgium).
Especially in my Ardennes region, there are lots of tunnels, so we have numerous short sections of railroads on the map… I found some sections here and there, but what is the policy: draww all railroads, none, or some ?

we prefer to add the railroads, so there is no mistake of someone traveling by train and using waze (although he shouldn’t do this) and the speeddata this user is creating.
It would be a shame the speeddata of a train-user would be mixed up with the data of a real road.
Also, the visual orientation provided by the walking trail, can help to orientate yourself… the regular ‘railroad’ type isn’t showing up on the map, so that is why we use the walking trail type in the BeNeLux…
I don’t know to what area you’re referring to, but if the ‘walking trail’ isn’t drawn in areas of tunnels, it could be because it’s no real use there… Waze doesn’t have a GPS signal in the tunnel, so will not work in there…
To have a complete map, i would say, if possible, to add the railroad anyhow… if the map is full of little parts of segments, it’s also not looking very good…

I will do my best to add missing railroad as a single piece not cut by tunnels then.
I will start with the Ligne 62 that is incomplete and stops at a tunnel ; a part is already done L5 locked.

I know is still have the stupid automatic name, but it is impossible to change it.
Explanation : my Chrome browser crashed during the name change procedure so the change is acted (and you can change only once it seems… 
) but I had not the opportunity to change it.
According to the US forums, it seems that I am stuck with that name or I have to restart a new account… And I suspect that is the reason my “Paved kilometers” are not taken into account. A pity because I created -among others- three new groups of streets in three different newly created areas.

If you sent me your email address via PM we can see of Waze staff can do something for you… Also send is the username you would like…
^^ That can be difficult I noticed.
Best is to look at the official way to change a username in the client.
See support and search for ‘temporary username’.
