Hi. What’s wrong with that one specific segment? Is there a posted speed limit now? Otherwise all the roads here default to 55.
Also - I did not see this request when I replied to your user report the other day. Maybe you were referring to this.
Segments are locked at times to prevent higher level roads from tampering or errors. We can unlock them and follow the edit to make sure it’s correct.

Was that Strasburg Rd.? There is no posted speed limit so it is 55 mph.
Yes. The problem was some “unverified” speed limits on that segment. Leftover from an experiment where some estimated speed limits were populated into segments when we were on the speed limit project. They had to be verified and some were not yet done - - It was supposed to help, but was a tedious process and not one I think a lower editor could do with an unlock.
That’s likely why some segments there did not show a speed limit in the app.
So there is no way to get those speed limits in Waze? They are country roads and what I understand the state of Michigan says they are 55 mph.
Already fixed. Sorry if I was not clear. I just meant I had to click a box on each segment to verify the speed.
Changes can take a day or two before they go live (sometimes longer when there is a delay). And you may need to be on a ROUTE to get the app screen updated.
