When you are travelling on Rama Rd (coming from Hwy 169), when you pass the train tracks the speed limit goes up to 80km/h (Waze is still reporting it to be 60 km/h). The speed limit remains at 80km/h until you come up to YMCA Geneva Park on your right and then it goes down to 60km/h. (It’s obviously the same in the opposite direction in regards to when the 80km/h zone starts and ends.
OK, this took way too much time, but here’s what I fixed:
- Section between 169 and the first tracks set to 60.
- Two segments south of the tracks changed to 80, then combined with the third segment (the only difference was the speed limits). Seems that someone had created a split based on some information (possibly the 60 ahead sign, possibly a user report).
- I scrolled painfully south using street view trying to find the park. When I finally did, I found 9 segments north of the park were set to 60, changed to 80.
Going forward, the idea with these update/unlock requests is that you do all the research, determine exactly what needs to change, an provide permalinks containing all the changes needed if possible. Note that a permalink can contain many segments (hold the Ctrl key to select multiple segments). In this case, if you had provided 3 permalinks for the 3 sections that needed changing (e.g. Change these 4 segments to 60, these two to 80, these 9 to 80, with the appropriate links), that would have made this process go very smoothly. Just some improvements for next time.
