I am a rank 2 editor.

Within my currently editable area, I have updated all the road classifications using the functional specification maps from the DOT. Unfortunately my currently editable area only extends so far, at least until I get higher rank I guess. I’d love to extend my editable area but I don’t have the gas to go driving around unnecessarily and I don’t want to ‘cheat’ the system doing unnecessary edits just for rank. =(

Anyway, these are segments that are within my currently editable area that I cannot edit because of being locked. If you see segments near these that are a different classification, especially if they’re not locked, it’s probably because they’re outside of my editable area. I’m only listing ones within my editable area that I myself cannot yet change.

In the previous link, I’d also like to see the following segment standardized to match the other segments on the road (made two way and move the southern junction so this segment is perpendicular to the main highway). I can’t do it myself because the junction I want to move is part of the previous level 5 locked segments. (Actually I’d really like to ‘de-split’ this road but I’m waiting until/unless map errors appear.)

My editable area has increased slightly so here’s some more requests for road designations to match the DOT functional specifications.

Related: Northbound on this segment, restrict the left hand turn. It’s impossible to make a left hand turn here because of the divided nature of the highway. Routing should then use the correct ramp by making a right hand turn at the other ramp. I’ve seen a ‘users ignore the route’ error before when it was outside my editable area but now that it’s in my editable area the error seems to be gone, but the turn is still not fixed and because of the locked segment I can’t fix it myself.

I have made the changes you mentioned. I did not reference any of the functional classification maps so I am not endorsing any of the changes :wink: I feel it is best not to have a few segments with different classifications here and there so I agree with the changes from the consistency perspective.

I changed the lock level to match that of surrounding roads which I think was level 1 in most if not all cases (again for consistency).
