The left turn from N. Capitol St NE onto Florida Ave is not allowed at all times. The map shows it has a time-based turn restriction, which is not correct.
Thanks in advance.

Are you sure? The last time I drove through the sign said 6-10, which I remember because its an odd time interval.
The sign says no left turn except busses during that time.
I’m confused. Doesn’t that mean you can left turn the rest of the time?
What it seems to mean is that no one can make a left turn unless you are a bus at those times. Multiple users have reported this turn as being not allowed over the past week (I think there are 4 URs).
Good point.
I’ll restrict it.
But I’m not buying the reporter that states that it has never been a time restricted turn. I know I’ve made that left in the past. I’ll have to drive through it again.
Thanks
I’d normally say that a sign that says “Except buses/6-10 am” means that the turn is prohibited only during those hours, for all vehicles except buses. In this case, though, there is another No Left Turn sign on the median divider with no time placard. (good work, ddot!) So I guess we should leave the turn as restricted until we get some evidence to the contrary.
I am reasonably certain DC sets up road signs to be confusing so that the police can issue more tickets.
So I drove through the intersection last night. You both are correct, there is a “No left turn, 6 AM - 10 AM (Except Buses)” sign on the right traffic signal post and a plain “No left turn” on the left traffic signal post. There is also a lighted no left turn sign that was on at 6 PM. I wouldn’t make a left turn there with the current signage.
