A majority of turns allowed/restricted on this section of Hwy 701 Business are incorrect. I would be happy to make the corrections, but the road requires Rank 5 and I am a relative newbie, Rank 1.

EDIT - after looking at this further, the problems (incorrect turn restrictions) exist further up and down Hwy 701 Business in Whiteville than the sections highlighted in the permalink above. For that matter, turn restrictions throughout town are a mess, so I’ll spend some time cleaning those up myself. Let me know if I can help with 701.

Thanks! Interestingly, as I was cleaning up the other intersections in town, I noticed that Hwy 701 Bypass was set as a rank 1 for editing purposes, whereas Hwy 701 Business a rank 5… don’t know if you need to change the bypass (a more major road/highway than business) to a higher restriction, while you’re in this area of the map.

Almost all of the side streets off of 701 business should be open for turns, though there are a few in the downtown area where turns are restricted. Since that is the minority of cases, if you don’t know this area the easiest thing to do might be to allow all turns throughout 701 business and I’ll look back through it later this week and highlight/permalink the few that need restrictions and post another note in this thread.

That’s exactly what I did. There were 2 area I restricted some turns. You can take a look at it and let me know. I will go ahead and lock the MH to rank 5. Before I do that, is there any issue that you know that needs to be addressed?

OK. All of S JK Powell Blvd and part of 701 are locked at rank 5. Using GSV, I might miss few turn restrictions. Please take a look at it and let me know if update needed.
Also, there are a lot of soft turns, directions and restrictions on each side of the MH that can be updated. They are all Rank 1 and you shouldn’t come across any road block. :wink:

Oops, I missed one that could cause some routing problems.

A left turn off of Love Mill and onto South Madison (701 business) is no longer allowed - similarly you can no longer turn left off of South Madison onto Love Mill:
