That report says it all, not too sure what can be done here.

2 things I see. 1st, there was one thing wrong with the intersection, but it wasn’t affecting the directions given. There was a turn node that was turned on, that needs to be off, but that had nothing to do with the routing.
2nd, the user followed the Waze directions, so there’s really nothing we can do. IF that person had gotten off and Waze recalculated, we could maybe narrow it down to a single segment or a few segments, but that’s not the case. Mark as ‘not identified’ and keep an eye on it.
Will do, thank you sir!
Thought I’d share, as I pm’d this to Vector, as of right now there are 3 or 4 reports at the station, obviously someone is frustrated.
Here’s what I sent him.
If the railway is a railroad track, it doesn’t show up in the app. I don’t recall if I had landmarks turned on when I looked at the issue.
I have a feeling someone may be navigating to a search result from an external provider that is dropped on top of the platforms themselves. And that is right against the southbound carriageway, thus the problem.
Exactly,
I just responded to RED_ZMAN in email about this Rail Runner Station in detail. I have been seeing these error reports for sometime and various people messing around with the landmark. Since we have no way to communicate back to the user or even know their handle, this may never be solved for them. We have no idea what POI result they are using.
I finally came back to the New Mexico forum to do exactly what RED_ZMAN did, post the error report here in hopes that they would get annoyed and come to the forums. Great minds…only his is faster.
I unlocked the landmark and made it small (less than 50m per side) over the entrance road. Since RED_ZMAN has some energy behind this, I will let him play with it and rename it to see if the URs stop. I would prefer to have a train station landmark over the whole thing, but that can be added back later. Maybe rename it something like “NM599 Railrunner - Pick me in Waze!!!” or something even more enticing like “NM599 Rail Runner - To those always have problems navigating here!” or maybe “NM599 Rail Runner - Send RED_ZMAN a PM in Waze Forums so we can chat and solve this problem”…
Here here!
Glad these forums are active for such. I’ll keep everyone up to date. Thanks for the support.
